For the younger honda crowd, they dont remember what it was like when B series vtec swaps were "too expensive" or overpriced. K's are just newer and come with the price tag. B series used to blow all the time back in the day before it became common knowledge as to what does and doesnt work. The people that claim they don't want a K because "everyone does a k swap" is just like the people that used to say that for b16s and gsr swaps which are damn near default now. They are saught after for a reason. Honda didnt reverse engineer. Most are just comfortable with what they know and dont like change.

A lot of Ks are left stock or just with bolt ons because it outputs more than mild built Bs, so its a lot more than most even attempt. Same thing for boost, a turbo K can see 400+ whp completely stock, its in another league than the older B. People push the limits of a K and that's where they get blown. Nobody with a right mind would output 400whp on a 100% stock gsr because they know it wont hold. In a K, we still wonder if it can do more and more.

The B series is a legend, but the potential of the K hasn't been realized yet and mod for mod, the K always come out on top. We have to suffer the higher pricing until the community shifts towards Ks as a default swap. Im soo old that I remember when tuners and enthusiasts didnt want to mess with the vtec function in a B series because it wasn't understood completely. Turbo LS swaps used to be king of the hill lol

I don't see why people drool over this K crap. Costs too much and from what ive seen and heard it isnt as reliable as the B. I get the power aspect but most people just leave it stock and doesnt seem worth the money at that point.

K is the new b. The reason people go b is because they coukdnt afford the k. Now a days though you can build some k series engines for less than a b swap. Price wise k is expensive in the Honda world bit look at Subaru and Mitsubishi evos. I like my d series build because people only care about b and k series for the most part. People forget about h series swaps that will own most b series.

Looks good man! RSX's out here hold still their value. Most of them are still around 10k.

Hey guys..... I know it's been a while but figure I'd pop in with a update

So for one rsx is gone had the master cylinder blow out on me while I was in a rush to do something one day and got pissed so threw it on Craig's list someone gave me $1,300 and a 2000 galant with 117k on it for the rsx so I said wtf n did it........ I have been busy working so gave myself a time out on the whole cars thing but still having a little fun
Me and my wife decided it was time for her to get a new car also so we went and picked her up a 08 MazdaSpeed 3 can't complain with that cars fast as f*** 2.3L turbo 6 gears

Alright so hope fully in the next couple of weeks I can get started on this ek sedan it currently belongs to my cousin but he doesn't want it anymore And is looking to trade me for the galant I don't know what I'm going to do to it yet but I know that the build or modification process is going to be a lot slower then the hatch seeing as that Military money ain't flowing through right now lmao

So this car is in ok condition has some rust issues that need to be addressed and some other maintenance s*** that ill get into once the cars in my possession..... It's pretty much stock except for two mods which I actually did like all most two years ago and that's a eBay short shifter along with the eBay custom red coil overs lol so suspension will most definately need to get updated lol I bet all the shocks are own but we will see ill take more pictures when I get it I'm just going to keep the progress on this thread I stead of starting a new one

Yeah after my wife got rid of hers nothing was really the same lol....... I drive her mazda speed 3 that's way faster then the integra but there's just something about the car that makes you feel more sporty and I love the slight torquey feeling the ls gives
