so i got off my lazy ass and finally took some pics and loaded some pics still havent gotten pics of the final product since everytime i think of doin it its pitch black outside
so this is what i started off with. id suggest only getting one piece of aluminum since thats all i ended up needing to mount it on the trunk floor
make the stock tie down flat or just fabricate a piece yourself
edges are pretty sharp if you cut off the stock peice like mine. i just grinded it down
measure and attatch legs. accuracy is critical since if bolt holes dont line up you gotta redrill wich is annoying
yeah...this is how i connected my battery wire to the fuse box and i would suggest soldering and heat shrink tubing. i had to go to work so this is my quick fix
gutted most of the floor to put in new floor harness
started doing the headlight harness tuck
forgot to take a pic of putting the harness in wheel well. my bad
yeah not fun
even less fun. the f**kin heater shot the coolant or whatever at me. damn heater
yeah...the harness is now in the car if you can see it
had to solder the old ebrake sensor wire onto the new harness since the new one was missin one (my fault it wasnt there)
just started the drivers side today. way more complicated since you got the wiper fluid reservoir in the way
you can see part of the ex harness in!
so it started raining but i couldnt stop working so i made a little hut
the hut consisted of a card table and a tarp
when tucking the drivers side id suggest cutting the wires at different lengths to separate different wires. also theres a s**t load of red wires so dont get em mixed up since they only got different stripes on em
and a sample of mah work
tomorrow ill prob have it all complete and maybe if im smart enough to remember to take a pic or two of the final product ill post that. oh and dont use 16 ga wire like i did. way to big.
