    Radio not working :/

Glad I could help. Remember what I said as far as using that just for testing. In the end you want yellow hooked up to 12v constant power and red hooked up to 12v accessory power. Yellow is what holds memory on the radio and red is switched power and is what turns the radio on and off with the...

    Radio not working :/

Don't switch them, combine them. You obviously have power on one of the wires and by what you said it sounds like you have power on the yellow side. As for the fuse, all you have to do is replace it with another of the same rating. There are fuses inside the car and under the hood.

    Radio not working :/

Then you don't have power on the red acc wire. Clock can be illuminated while red does not have power. The radio may also load and eject cd's without power on that wire. If you have a meter then check for power where it needs to be. Try connecting the red wire where you have the yellow at along...

    Radio not working :/

Old radio or new radio? Sounds like it's a bad radio to me. If it powers up and it spits the cd back out after you try and put it then it is having some sort of error while trying to load or read it. Do you get sound while playing fm or am stations? If you have 12v + on the red and yellow wires...

Need to change my A/C climate control light bulb, help please?

This link will help you get started on disassembly. This is for removal of the radio, but that is the start of what you will have to do to get the dash bezel off so ou can remove the climate controls. Once you get the controls out you may have to take them apart to get to the bulbs. I can't...

    Car Audio Wiring Help

The hook you are talking about is a ring terminal for if you were making your own ground by screwing to the frame. Just cut it off and connect it as normal.

    Car Audio Wiring Help

Yes, just hook the black up to ground. No you don't have to disconnect the battery. That is a safety measure so you don't short out any wires during installation. That won't happen if you wire up your harness while it's not connected to the car.

Front right speaker has no power -_-

If you bought a new door harness then it should have all the plugs. That however may be harder to replace then running a new speaker wire and definitely more expensive. You could always go to a reputable local car audio shop and have them repair it for less than the price of a new harness.

    Questions about alarm

The 5901 is a nice alarm/rs. Buy it from viper or a retailer. The only way it will have warranty is if you have it installed by a professional that is a retailer of their product. Alarms will work just fine on older cars. Remote starts... Not so much since they are not fuel injected.

    Soft Ding light reminder???

A 555 CMOS timer can be used for many things. It can be used to make a pulsating output like you have described. You can even adjust how fast the pulse is by the capacitor and resistor in the circuit. This would be used to trigger a transistor that would trigger a relay that wuld trigger your...

    Passenger window goes up...not down

Possible broken wire/connection in the door boot. You can test the window motor by disconnecting it from the car and using some speaker wire or something straght to the battery. + - one way will make it go up and the reverse will make it go down. If that works then your problem lies in the...

    i need help!!!!

I will take a wild stab at this lol. Either you hooked your ground up to the positive headlight wire or you hooked your positive up to the negative illumination wire. Either one would cause a problem like you have described. If you did hook up the wires directly to the battery then you have poor...

Antenna causing short circuit in 2005 Civic LX

The outer shield of the antenna should be connected to chassis ground. The inner pin should not be. Use a meter to check.

Front right speaker has no power -_-

Use a multimeter and check for continuity between the wires at the speaker and the wires inside the car. Wires that are in the door boot may be broken.

    radio remote wire volt??

Yes the remote wire should output 12v. The reason why 5v may work on one amp and not the other would have to do with the internals of the amp. Typically the remote wire is only triggering a transistor in the amp for turn on. Transistor in amp A may take less than transistor in amp B. Are you...

Requesting pics of aftermarket steering wheels.

I had a momo in my old integra. It took me a bit to get used to it but after a while I loved it. Then I drove my buddies integra with stock wheel and it felt like I was driving a bus. If I had pics I would post them but that was forever ago. I had to modify the piece that fits the spline though...
